Hello everyone! My name is Lily and I am a primary school student. Today, I want to share with you my exciting summer vacation.

During the summer vacation, my family and I went to a beautiful beach resort. The weather was sunny and the ocean was sparkling blue. I had so much fun playing in the sand and building sandcastles with my little brother. We even had a sandcastle competition with some other kids on the beach. Although we didn't win, it was a great experience.

We also went swimming in the ocean. The water was cool and refreshing. I learned how to swim last year, so I was able to swim on my own. It was such an amazing feeling to be able to float on the water and dive underwater. I even saw some colorful fish swimming around me!

Besides the beach, we also visited a local amusement park. There were so many exciting rides to try. My favorite was the roller coaster. It was scary at first, but once I got on it, I couldn't stop laughing and screaming. It was definitely a thrilling experience!

In the evenings, we would have barbecues on the beach. My dad would grill delicious burgers and hot dogs, while my mom prepared salads and fruit. We would sit around a bonfire, roast marshmallows, and tell stories. It was so much fun spending quality time with my family.

Before I knew it, it was time to go back to school. Although I was sad that my summer vacation was over, I was also excited to see my friends and start a new school year. I will always cherish the memories I made during this summer vacation.
