一、指导思想
全面贯彻落实学校及各处室工作计划中所涉及的英语教学工作,结合本教研组特点,扎扎实实开展工作。加强教师队伍建设,提高教师队伍素质;要继续坚持以教学为中心,以英语科竞赛辅导为突破口,抓好尖子生的培养,抓好边缘学生的转化,保证良好的教育教学质量;推进课堂教学改革,以适应新课程改革的要求,落实好学生在英语学习方面的基础知识和基本技能,全面提升我校的英语教学水平。
二、工作目标
1、完成学校和年级对英语组提出的要求和任务,进一步提升组风、教风,建设一支特别能战斗,特别能钻研的符合新课改要求的新型教研组。
2、学科期中,期末考试均分居市同类学校前2名。力争在各种教学教研活动中充分发挥我教研组的先锋带头作用。
3、加强英语特长生的培养,争取在全市取得领先地位,力争在全省获奖。
三、加强教研组的建设,发挥备课组功能:
1.抓备课组制度建设和作风转变。
(1) 进一步完善办公制度。坚持做到不迟到,不早退。全天侯保持办公环境的整洁和安静,并安排专人负责督促检查。
(2) 强化集体备课制度。每周一,四为固定集体备课时间,任何人在没有特殊情况下都不得迟到或缺席,违者将受到相应的处罚。每周都有专人负责教学案一体化,每周都由主备小组准备一堂公开课向全校推出。
(3) 转变工作作风。力争创设一个具有严谨,求实,创新精神的先进教研组,使组内充满团结,和谐和竞争的气氛,消除旧有的不良工作作风。

(1) 在开学第一周内制定好本教研组的工作计划和行事历,在最快的时间内上网供领导和教师检查指导。
